What is our Healing Circle like?
Former students have an opportunity to practice giving and
receiving Reiki treatments as well as receive class updates.

All who are willing to participate are welcome. This is an
excellent opportunity for friends and family members to
join us and experience what Reiki is all about. We sit in a
large circle and begin by introducing ourselves.
Each person will:
1. State their name
2. Share a Reiki story or how they became interested
Reiki
3. State their occupation or business (It is okay at that
time to pass out your business cards or any flyers
promoting your events.)
4. Finally, share one quality you like about yourself or
something you are very grateful for

We then say a healing prayer stating our intentions and
begin exchanging laying-on-of-hands healing. Everyone
who is interested in receiving a treatment is also expected
to give a treatment. We honor and respect all different
healing modalities and lineages. However, everyone will
be guided to follow the suggested protocol during this
session for practicality and comfort.

We use of The Reiki Pillars also known as The Japanese
Healing Techniques as described below.

1.
Gassho- which means "two hands coming together" is a
form of meditation that gets you centered, focused &
comfortably grounded

2.
Reiji-ho- " indication of spirit" states the intention or
prayer (Which is always for highest good of the client and
not one's own limited personal agenda)

3.
Chiryo- "treatment" the laying-on-of-hands Basic, gentle
hand positions will be reviewed. (Students, please study
the hand positions in your textbook. I also encourage you to
attend upcoming Reiki I classes to review and practice.
They are free for former students up to one year.)And last
but not least

4.
Kenyoku- "dry-bathing" sweeping, cleanses the aura
(We have just asked for a healing which brings to the
surface anything that no longer serves our highest good, any
unfinished business and old toxins. They are swept away to
allow the negative energy to be released.) Finally, smooth
the aura. Remember to sweep yourselves as well, since,
you also receive the healing benefits of the energy flowing
through you during the treatment.
